Hi Benjamin – I am hoping to be in the area but unfortunately it may be a couple of weeks before the anniversary celebrations. I think we may be in the Brixham area around that time but may be able to ’fire up the moby’ or possibly catch a train connection from Paignton. Many thanks. Margaret

Margaret, If you are in the area head to the Bluebell Railway for their 50th anniversary around the 6th to the 9th of August. It is looking to be an awesome event with Stepney looking like he’ll be there. Then there is Tornado rubbing shoulders with Uk’s oldest working loco FR20.

Thank you very much for that. I do intend to volunteer as much as I possibly can. I also am looking at relocating from my current home address and hoping that I can volunteer at KWVR. I am really interested in keeping our fleet of heritage locomotives and rolling stock going.
We need places where we can learn skills before they die out. Thank you for your kind thoughts. I intend to do what i can so that I can learn and help keep our history going.
