  • I am a member of Mid Cheshire Model Railway Society based in Winsford. Our club rooms are on two floors, 7mm and 2mm layouts in the basement and 4mm layouts on ground level. The following link gives a view of some of the layouts and there is also a link at the bottom of the page to a recent video taken at the club. There are also contact details at the bottom of the page. New members are always welcome.

  • Exactly that Fred……upon first glance you think they are just nice piccies from 60’s America, but when you realise they are 1/24th models….truly inspiring stuff.

  • David they are Stunning, i didn’t read the heading properly first so could not see the relavence, but when i read it again well its fantastic work !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.

  • I came across this US modeller yesterday, his photographs are truly amazing, they may not be railway related, but well worth a look.

  • I must admit I have been out of modelling UK outline for a few years now (preferring the superior engineering in the Japanese N gauge stuff, sad but true) but having seen some of the latest UK models and especially now that the running has improved light years ahead of what it was just 10 years ago I am sorely tempted to get my son who is building (with the willing help of his Dad of course ) to include a preserved railway somewhere on his little layout. A bit of arm twisting required I think!
